Dennis I. Young

Dennis I. Young, 73, of Ridgway, died on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at Penn Highlands Dubois.

He was born on September 18, 1949, a son of the late Kenneth and Alice Jeffordes Young.

On November 27, 1990, he married Shirley Mitchell, who survives.

Dennis lived in Ridgway and St. Marys most of his life and is a member of The Hallton Church. He worked as a die setter for St. Marys Carbon, Clarion Sintered, and Metaldyne. He spent his time hunting and fishing.

In addition to his wife of 30 years, he is survived by a sister, Barb Nagi, a brother, John”Tex” Young, a brother in law Ron Mitchell, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Sally and Annette Young, and a brother Kenneth Young.

Funeral Services for Dennis I. Young are being held privately.

Burial will be at Ott Cemetery.
