Gerald A. Agosti, 87, of Kersey, died on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at Penn Highlands Elk after a lengthy illness.
He was born on February 15, 1936, in Force, a son of the late William and Helen Majchrzak Agosti.
On November 14, 1959, he married Patricia Wallace, who survives.
Gerald was a lifelong resident of the area and a graduate of Bennetts Valley High School. For many years, Gerald worked as a mechanic at Keystone. He was a member of St. Marys KOF, C.M.F, Kersey Fireman's Club, PFL, and Dagus Mines Legion. Gerald enjoyed taking walks in the woods, making wine, and watching the steelers.
In addition to his loving wife of 63 years, Patricia, he is survived by 4 daughters: Deb Hoffman and her husband Luke of Ridgway, Karen Agosti of Ridgway, Loretta Pistner of St. Marys, and Elizabeth Agosti from Williamsport, 2 sons; Richard Agosti of St. Marys and Randy Agosti of Byrnedale, 11 grandchildren; Ben, Nicholas (Ashlee), R.J (Kelsea), Kenny (Gina), Darryn, Jason, Forest, Kylie, Josie, Shelby, and Devin, 4 great grandchildren; Hailey, Kinsley, Brianna, and Maylee. He is also survived by a brother, Floyd Agosti of Penfield.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers; Donald and Robert Agosti, a sister in infancy, and a son in law, Rodney Pistner.
Funeral services for Gerald A. Agosti will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
