Shirley J. Milchuck

Shirley J. Milchuck, 83, formally of Ridgway, died on Friday, February 23, 2024, at Pinecrest Nursing Home.

She was born on July 3, 1940, in Coudersport, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Cecil A. and Virginia B. (Hall) Berfield.

She had previously been employed at Carson Finance in Coudersport, Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Ridgway, and retired after many years at Alltel. She was an avid gardener, reader, shopper, and loved to travel.

She is survived by 4 children: Brian K. (Myong Ae) Milchuck of Hilo, Hawaii; Bruce E. (Johanna) Milchuck of Kitty Hawk, NC; Dianna R. (John) Pugliese of West Chester, PA; John A. (Teresa) Milchuck of Huntsville, AL; 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; a sister, Judy (Glenn) Bell of PA, brothers Raymond (Rochelle) Berfield of TX, and Roger Berfield of NY, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Laurel V. Brouse, and her brother, Allen Berfield.

A Memorial Service For Shirley J. Milchuck will be held Thursday, March 28, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. at Pinecrest Manor, 763 Johnsonburg Road, St. Marys, PA 15857.  Fellowship immediately afterwards at The Wildwoods, 875 Washington Road, St, Marys, PA 15857.
